Cuba

WELCOME TO CUBA.

Cuba is the largest island in the Caribbean, and with over 11 million of habitants, is the second-most populous after Hispaniola, albeit with a much lower population density for the region. It is a multiethnic country whose people, culture and customs derive from diverse origins, including the aboriginal Taíno and Ciboney peoples, the long period of Spanish colonialism, the introduction of African slaves, and a close relationship with the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

Cuba is the island with major territorial extension of the major antillas. This one is located to the south of Florida, to the north of Jamaica, to the east of the peninsula of Yucatan and to the west of the Bahamas and of The Spanish. The Republic of Cuba includes more than 3,715 islets, keys and islands, between which the island of the Youth is outlined for his surface. The principal archipelagoes are: Camagüey's archipelago, that of Sheet in the Atlantic Ocean and the archipelago of the Gardens of the Queen in the Caribbean sea. The island dominates both income to the gulf of Mexico in the western part, the strait of Florida in the northern part and the channel of Yucatan in the southern part.
